Associations and Accreditations

We are currently members or associated with the following organisations.

The Carbon Trust is a world leader for the certification of product footprints, which allows the use of an eco-label with international recognition in the products of certified companies. As of 2018, all products of Viña Concha y Toro will be able to use this certification.

Global Reporting Initiative created the first global standard of guidelines for the preparation of sustainability reports for those organizations that wish to evaluate their economic, environmental and social performance. For its 2015 edition Viña Concha y Toro was included in the "GRI gold round tables".

The Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) is a nonprofit organization that directs the global disclosure system for investors, businesses, cities, states and regions in order to manage their impact on the environment.

The first local Sustainability Index, DJSI Chile, developed by the Santiago Stock Exchange and S & P Dow Jones Indices, is the most prestigious international index. In 2015, Viña Concha y Toro was recognized as one of the 12 IPSA companies that are part of it, thanks to its good practices on this area.

The United Nations Global Compact calls on leading companies to adopt ten universal principles related to human rights, labor standards, the environment and anti-corruption. Currently, it is World's most important global network, with more than 10,000 participants in more than one hundred countries.

The Sustainability Code is designed to uphold sustainable practices in the wine industry, based on requirements in three complementary areas: vineyard, winemaking and production, and corporate. Its objective is that grape growers and winemakers improve their management through compliance with the requirements stipulated in the code.
